Climatic Test Chambers, Building 506, Jaguar Land Rover, Gaydon
Complex remodelling and extension to the Jaguar Land Rover’s Climatic Vehicle testing facility was delivered without disruption to existing operations.
MSL supported the main contractor throughout the construction phase of the project with design, quality, programme, progress and commissioning management in relation to the mechanical, electrical and public health engineering services.
Key features of the project included strip out and diversion of existing services, demolition of central area of building 506, a 15m high steel framed clad extension to accommodate offices and meeting rooms, a new climatic suite, new ground floor slab and pit for rolling road, a mezzanine plant room, and the strengthening of existing roofs.
